The Arsenal Park area has a strong military feel. During the Second World War, this place was the second ammunition producer in Europe, and during the communist period it is said to be the most closely guarded place in Romania. After the 1989 Revolution, it was transformed into the only amusement park with an army theme in Europe.
Built on a former ammunition factory, Arsenal Park is now a favorite destination for family holidays and teambuilding. The resort provides accommodation for 230 guests, and eccentric tourists can try our beds on canon carriages in the Canon Rooms or sleep in APC Rooms or simple Officer Rooms or even in luxury Colonel Apartments or General Vilas.
The alleys are lined up with 150 military exhibits: canons, APCs, antimissiles devices, machine guns and anti-aircraft guns, rocket launchers, military trucks, a military ambulance, a train, an IAR 93 plane, a KamovKa 26 helicopter. All these set up into the largest military open-air museum in Romania.
Our guests enjoy exploring all those 88 hectares and, 12 km alleys in the middle of a hardwood forest. They have plenty of activities to keep them engaged. Adrenalin and relaxation are completed in the best way possible at Arsenal Park. Exciting activities alternate with restful sessions for body and mind.
Flanked by two terraces, the Officers’ Mess Restaurant is really unique in the country, thanks to its typical army furniture and interior decoration. At the end of a long day of adrenalin pumping, the party continues around a brilliant campfire. It’s time for barbeque, music and fun! For cool evenings, our small Dacian Village is perfect for traditional food parties.
